Our Story

What is the story behind HappyHobbyHorses, hobbyhorse artesan Jenny S. and the slogan: “For riders who deserve the best” ?

The biggest inspiration has naturally been my precious daughter Julia who was very enthusiastic taking care, riding, jumping and designing hobbyhorses. Everything should be perfect with hobbyhorses. How they look, how they are balanced, how long is the stick, how equipments are looking and fitting…. and that was absolutely great. She wasn’t the only one whobwas enthusiastic, they were plenty. IT happened over 10 years ago when I understood how much these hobbyhorses means to riders at any age.

And When I finally started to learn how to produce hobbyhorses it took several years to reach todays high-quality standards. But, I had made up my mind when I started to learn producing all I want to do is offer high-quality hobbyhorses because I knew how much these hobbyhorses means and how amazing feelings people get when they hustle with hobbyhorses. So, Julia learned me don’t settle for satisfactory solutions, demand the best from yourself.

She really deserved the best and I think I really learned from the best and nothing has changed, she still deserves the best in every way. I am pretty sure you think the same way of your own children and close people.

So, it’s been a very long trip from the start to this point what comes to quality. Developing the quality of hobbyhorses never stops. New ideas, designs and features have to be tried and developed and push hard in every way so you can experience the best possible moments with hobbyhorses.
